About Us
Established in March of 2022 as Backyard Buddies Mobile Petting Zoo.
We are a small, family business with big dreams.
We believe in the positive energy between humans and animals, and we want everyone to have a fun, hands-on experience with our animals in a way that respects them as living creatures.
All of our animals are our cherished pets, and they love attending events as part of our traveling petting zoo, where they receive plenty of scritches and special treats.
Our "Animal Attendants" are experienced in recognizing animal behaviors to ensure our buddies have the best experience while away from home. The safety and well-being of our animals is top priority. We even travel side by side on our Buddy Bus! Routine animal care and vet visits are not cheap. With that said, our pricing reflects the quality care we provide our animals through quality feed, supplements, grooming, and vet care
The Whole Experience
Not only do we share snuggles with our animals. Additionally, we collaborate with local animal control authorities to assist in animal fosters, bottle feeding orphaned animals, and providing care to those with unique needs. Making our traveling petting zoo a funding source for our non-profit, Animals for All Giveback Project. A 501(c)(3)

We are currently working on getting our Community Pet Pantry open to the public as well as on the farm wellness programs.
Booking With Backyard Buddies Mobile Animal Experience
Step 1: Reach out for a quote and availability (email, online chat, text, or call)
Step 2: If you like what we offer and are available when you need us, we'll send you an invoice to reserve your date.
Step 3: Place your non-refundable deposit to lock down your date.
Step 4: Day of event: we arrive an hour early, you sign a waiver, pay your balance, enjoy lots of animal snuggles and special memories!
Mobile event prices for our NJ, PA, NY traveling petting zoo and Animal Experience are determined by the length of the event, the package/ add on services selected, and the distance from our service area.

We are based out of Ocean County, New Jersey. As a mobile petting zoo, we come to you!
A destination fee will be applied to package pricing based on distance. No destination fee within 25-mile radius of Lakehurst, NJ
We are fully insured, and safety is our top priority.
-Animal Attendants are to ensure the safety of both the participants and animals. Children are to be supervised by a parent at all times.
-Shoes required to enter animal enclosure
-No food allowed in the animals' enclosure.
-We do not offer pony rides at this time.
-A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your event date.
-We have canopies to cover over our enclosures just in case of inclement weather.
-Animals subject to substitution based on unforeseen circumstances.
-Final payment and signed liability waiver due day of event at set up. Cash, PayPal, credit card or Venmo accepted
-Safety waiver must be signed, no acceptations.
